Why I do what I do.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with double minors in Chemistry and Spanish from a Top 100 university, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors. On paper, I was “well-educated.” But when it came to managing money, I felt lost. I’d hear people talk about Roth IRAs, investment strategies, or mortgages and wonder, “Should I already know this?” The truth was, I didn’t—and it was frustrating. When I got married in 2015, our household financial picture grew more complex and I realized I couldn’t ignore it any longer. I spent countless hours reading financial articles, often feeling more overwhelmed than informed. Then, I found a blog post that explained Roth IRAs in a way that finally made sense. For the first time, I felt empowered instead of intimidated. That experience lit a fire in me—I went on to pursue a PhD in Financial Planning, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunities I've had to develop a profound and nuanced perspective of financial planning. But more than that, I’m grateful that I still remember how confusing and uncertain it all once felt. That sense of overwhelm—especially when the stakes feel high—gives me great empathy for the people I serve today. After years of education, training, and hands-on experience, I now have the privilege of working with individuals and couples who have spent decades building careers, raising families, and saving diligently. You may find yourself on the threshold of retirement carrying the quiet questions: Have we done enough? Can we really afford to slow down? Am I missing something? I take great joy in shouldering the weight of complexity—tax law, investment strategy, income planning— so you can focus on what matters most. I do this work because I believe you deserve a retirement defined by clarity, peace of mind, and purpose—not because you know all the rules, but because you’ve found a trusted partner who does.
